one skein of black yarn
Oct 1, 2011
pattern: Boys Town Beanie (free pattern, my own)
yarn: Red Heart Super Saver black
needles: Size US 10 / 6.0 mm
Curious to see how much I could knit using just one skein of black acrylic, I did just that last week.Three hats and most of one charity square. Not too bad! Hat on the right is for my husband, the other two are to be donated to charity, as is the square.
{These are charity knits 286 - 288/10,000. I'm knitting 10,000 items for charity in my lifetime as part of my Ten Thousand Project.}

Although I discovered your blog about half a year ago, I kinda 'forgot' about it and just re-discovered it yesterday. I think your 10k project is awesome! and 288 charity knits is a huuuge number already - you can be proud of yourself :)
ReplyDeleteI imagine that it's really hard to find time to knit when having a one month old son and I'm really glad you keep blogging. Can't wait to hear the second part of owen's birth story!!
Well done on the three hats and the square, I can't believe how much you're still managing to knit even with little Owen around. Very inspiring! Hope the three of you are doing well, I also look forward to the second part of your birth story.
